Psalms 118:26

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!  We bless you from the house of the Lord,"  Psalms 118:26.  Oh what a blessed day we had in the house of the Lord yesterday.  We have been here now three Sundays and each one so sweet.  Everyone enjoys the song service so much, we sing like seven or eight songs before the lesson is started.  In three Sundays we have all learned the songs so much better.  They are learning the tunes to the hymns and we are learning the words.  Even Leia sings right along.  She brings smiles to their faces just like she did at home.  Yesterday another family came to the service.  We had 17 in attendance yesterday.  We were so excited to see new faces.

Leia & Solbeta

The past two Sundays we start walking down the road to Atenas and the taxi usually picks us up when we have made it half way to town and takes us to the bus stop. This is usually what the pack looks like...Logan at the front with Daddy, Olivia a few steps behind, Carson always a lot of steps behind (he would be behind me if I would let him), and Leia makes it a few yards and then says over and over, "Hold me, Hold me...I tired."  So, I make up the rear and carry her until my arms are about the fall off then pass her along to Daddy.  Actually this Sunday I handed her right over to her Daddy : )

His little legs just can't move any faster.

Waiting for the bus to head to Altos de Naranjo for
Sunday morning services.

This was the first Sunday and they had a blast
playing together, language barrier and all.

The kids really miss their dog, especially Logan.
Every dog he sees makes his little heart melt.
He has a huge soft spot for dogs and is so tender with them.

We took a taxi back to Atenas yesterday afternoon after services and came upon this traffic jam.  We were literally just sitting in the middle of the road for about 25 minutes.  There were cars parked on each side of the road, cars trying to go both ways in the road, and people standing in the middle of the road.  All this was occurring on a road that would not even meet American standards for one car to be driving on one way.  Well, as you can see from these photos they were having a cattle auction at the Catholic church, on the Lord's Day.

These people finally moved over after 15 minutes of standing
there.  The only reason they ended up moving was
because another man finally noticed that no traffic could
go anywhere unless they moved, and he physically picked
up these people's chairs and put his hands on their
shoulders and moved them over 3 feet.

Part of the stock available at the cattle auction...
the rest of it was being unloaded in the middle of
the road.

This was the view out the back window...
unloading a horse.

The lanky horse being led to auction...wonder who won him??
