Walking By Faith: Prayer Board

There are thousands of women in Costa Rica suffering from Domestic Abuse. We know many of these women who have suffered and are currently suffering, but we ask that you would please remember one particular one right now. It is a situation where prayer is the best answer. UPDATE: As you continue to remember these woman, I ask that you pray for their situations and that with God miracles will come out of these situations. It is our hope and prayer that these men will change and allow God into their lives and live by His word and not in their angry worlds.

We will officially begin our residency process this coming Tuesday. We are unsure at this time what the time frame will be from start to "cedula" in hand. Once this process is started we will not have to leave the country every 90 days. But we are still unable to acquire healthcare {govt insurance} until the residency has been finalized. UPDATE: Our case will be filed tomorrow. Hopefully we will be temporary residents in one year.

David continues to have ongoing studies with all who have obeyed the Gospel and have just begun their Christian walk. He is also making new contacts and has started studies with new contacts. Please pray for these new Christians as they start their NEW walk in faith. And also for those who are just hearing the Gospel for the first time.

Our renter of our home in the states will be moving out in July. We have listed our home for sale and pray for God's will and timing in this and that we will be free from worry over this. I am working really hard on trying not to worry about this, because this is a huge deal. If someone doesn't buy or rent before Aug 1, we will have to maintain our mortgage payment plus our living expenses here. UPDATE: Pray for my peace that I will not worry about this, because I can come up with a million and one "what if" scenarios. We also received notice that the payment is going up on the house because we lost the Homestead credit since it is not our primary residence and the insurance went way up since it is not a rental. So, we owe a lump amount by July 1 and also the change in payment in hopes, that it will offset it and not happen again next year {would be great if we were not the owners}.

A dear friend, Rebecca Avaritt and her husband Chris are waiting for their little boy to be born. Please pray for this baby's birth mom and family and for Rebecca and Chris during this emotional journey of adoption.

Pray for David and I as we counsel people on marriage, the way God intended it. It is our prayer to give them Biblical counsel not only verbally but by example as well.
